Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships 2019-Proposal writing workshop
University of Stavanger aims to recruit talented researchers from foreign countries under the Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships programme (MSCA IF). MSCA IF provides a possibility for promising researchers to develop their careers through international experience.
UiS implemented a pilot of MSCA IF support programme in 2018, and the proposal writing workshop at UiS was an important part of this programme. In addition, this was a good opportunity for the invited candidates to get acquainted with the relevant research environments and supervisors at UiS. Those candidates who were invited to participate in the programme were also offered support in proposal writing throughout the whole period until the deadline in September 2018. After this successful pilot in 2018, EU Unit at UiS encourages researchers and research groups to use this possibility in 2019 by inviting prospective researchers to stay at UiS under MSCA IF for up to two years. If selected to participate in the workshop, your candidates will gain knowledge and skills necessary for application process.
MSCA IF candidates participating in the workshop will understand the specifics of project proposal development, application writing, application evaluation and requirements of the application template. Workshop is delivered by the Yellow Research – a well-known organization which specialises in MSCA IF and European Research Council applications.
The workshop will take place on the 25th April, 2019. EU R&D Unit will cover travel and accommodation expenses for the selected MSCA IF candidates. In case the candidates cannot come, there is a possibility to enroll them in a separate online workshop.
