Nanoscopy-GR is a lab network comprising ElMicLab AUTh, EMNL/INN/NCSR Demokritos, and SMN/UiO.
It offers access to state-of-art electron microscopes concurrent with in-depth analyses by an integrated methodology combining experimental observations with quantitative studies using image analysis and simulations, metrology, and theoretical tools such as atomistic and elasticity calculations, and topological theory.
In addition to its research services, Nanoscopy-GR also organizes seminars, webinars, workshops, public lectures, and practical training on the emerging developments in Electron Nanoscopy, addressing the materials research community in the academic and the industrial/productive sectors.
Nanoscopy-GR is glad to announce the 2nd webinar of the network, entitled:
The Art of Measuring at the Nanoscale: Mastering Quantitative Atomic-Resolution STEM
Date: July 19th, 2023, / 12:00-13:30 EET
Zoom link: https://authgr.zoom.us/j/91933770542
The webinar will focus on the methodologies to extract accurate nanoscale maps of composition and strain from experimental high resolution (S)TEM images, which is crucial for the needs of nanoscience and nanotechnology. Within this webinar, we will present our new software platform called ARTEMIS (Atomic Resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy Imaging Software). The level of the webinar will start from introductory so that students and nonexperts can attend.
