Dormed Hellas S.A. a company in the field of bioengineering is looking for two sales engineers one based in Athens and the other one in Thessaloniki. Particularly, for a tech-savvy sales engineer to assist with the selling of complex scientific and technological products and services. The Sales Engineer’s responsibilities include achieving sales budgets, maintaining extensive knowledge of the products, functions, and processes, and assisting to close sales where technical expertise may be required to fit the clients’ needs.

 

Sales Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and developing technical presentations to explain our company’s products or services to customers.
  • Discussing equipment needs and system requirements with customers and engineers.
  • Interact regularly with customers to understand their needs and recommend the right products and services.
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
  • Generating leads and meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Utilize industry software and technology effectively to improve the customer experience.
  • Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Understanding and promoting company programs.
  • Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients.
  • Participate in training and seek opportunities for improving operations.
  • Develop and apply in-depth knowledge of products and services to answer customer questions and determine appropriate solutions.

 

Sales Engineer Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or related field.
  • Experience in sales and the technology field.
  • Experience in using ERP and CRM.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
  • The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
  • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
